It was a very emotional wedding day for Gemma & Josiah. Their's was a 12 year journey to get to this moment, and as you can imagine, lots of life events had happened in that time.
The morning was sprinkling with rain, but held off just in time for the fun, relaxed and intimate ceremony. I think the clouds add an amazing feature!
This super backdrop of the country valley behind this ceremony area gave the guests a real 'wow' moment when they first walked around the corner to wait for the arrival of the bride and groom.
We asked the guests to relax and enjoy the wedding by not taking any photos.
The stunning Gemma was escorted by her brother, and accompanied by her three beautiful sisters. Josiah was supported by two of his mates.
I used their love of sport to bring some light-hearted joy to the moment... and recognised that marriage is like a team sport!
Gemma's youngest sister wrote her own verse and read it, full of confidence.
Gemma & Josiah wrote their own vows, which were romantic and full of emotions - happy and meaningful.
They exchanged wedding rings and we signed their Marriage Certificate under the gorgeous boho arbour, by Flowerchild Arrangements.
You may now kiss your beautiful bride...
The new 'Mr & Mrs' walked back down the aisle to the music by, the very talented, Georgia White and were sprinkled with confetti as they went!
Thank you to the very talented photographer, James Simpson, for his ability to capture the special moments from so many different angles.
The celebration continued in the fabulous Valley View Room at the newly renovated Camden Valley Inn. This was their first wedding after the re-opening... What an amazing venue!
Congratulations to this special couple!
